What made you start your YouTube channel?

I started my YouTube channel for 2 main reasons. First of all, when I used to play, I was always practicing my free kicks before and after training and seemed to be pretty good, as well as a few friends too who I played with. The second reason was, I wanted to submit some of my best goals to my favourite football YouTube channels, they were ‘freekickerz’ and ‘The F2’. I ended up featuring in one of ‘freekickerz’ TOP 5 GOALS of the WEEK which is why I also made a channel to get subscribers from that video, and show off my skills to a new audience online. It was just as a hobby (at the time!)

How old were you when you started?

I started making YouTube videos and Instagram posts when I was 14 years old, in my last year of school.

Best video you’ve made? Weirdest video you made? Worst video you made?

Best video: https://youtu.be/D24DJfy3qD0 One of my strongest years ever as a creator, did so much stuff and had amazing memories! Weirdest video: https://youtu.be/XPVTBJ0_BXA

Was just a funny compilation that shows what goes on behind the scenes.

Worst video: I’m happy and proud of all of my content so don’t really have a worst video.

How do you come up with video ideas?

I draw a lot of inspiration from what I see during my week online. So from fellow creators, goals scored at the weekend or in the UCL, what’s trending topics on YouTube, and sometimes just whatever I brainstorm and I think that would be good!

Highest view you reached for a video?

Over 300,000 for a Ronaldo vs Messi video, where I did a free kick battle with another YouTuber

Advice to anyone starting a YouTube channel?

Be consistent, be original, and do it because you want to - YouTube is a hobby and a wonderful place to share your ideas with the world, don’t be a follower, be a leader, and express the passion you have for making videos, in your videos.

Tip to get your first 100 subscribers?

Engage, communicate and be consistent with posting. Building a community is important and making subscribers feel valued and part of something is too. Share your video links where you can appropriately, and connect and talk to fellow creators at a similar stage to you. Networking is so important!

Do you play for a team?

I used to, but stopped 5 years ago due to medical reasons, and I started my YouTube because of it!

Favourite player?

Why?

His dedication to the game, his skill, development and talent amazes me, and he always aims to be a better version of himself, as he ages! And also, I’m a long life United fan, so was a follower of him since he joined the Red Devil’s!

Future plans what's your aims?

My future plans are to grow my socials wider, and expand my channel as a business. I’d love to have this as a full time, sustainable career, whether that means getting work for myself for my socials, or working for companies using all my experience and skill for other businesses. I’d also love to be more of a personality and presenter, by interviewing and interacting with players on social media.
